Lying there, she chuckles at her own clumsiness and notices a box in the dust beneath her bed. She finishes dressing, then retrieves the box, opens it, and begins to smile.

Inside are several photos spanning from her early childhood to the present, featuring her brothers, parents, and herself. Though they occasionally tease her, she knows it's out of love, and being the only girl among six children has taught her to speak her mind and not fear judgment. Jane picks up a photo of her with her brothers and parents, taken after she won their family contest for the fastest revolver draw—Jane always won, naturally.
