Even though he longed for a family of his own, with a loving wife and lots of kids running around, he found comfort and companionship in the diner staff who had become his second family.

The flames were dancing around the burger, giving it a delicious charred look. Ken felt the heat on his face, causing him to sweat a bit. He quickly wiped his forehead with the cloth draped over his left shoulder.

Last year, word spread across the city about Ken's incredible cooking skills. Suddenly, the regular truck drivers were replaced by eager customers waiting in long lines just to get a taste of his food.
