Is Yue Fei a strong general in Evony?
Yue Fei is definitely a decent reserve general in Evony. While he can hold his own in Mounted and Ground PvP, there are definitely more optimal choices out there.
If you're looking to maximize your potential, it might be better to focus on other generals instead of investing too heavily in Yue Fei. Keep in mind that he's not the best option for defence, as most of his skills are more effective when he's on the offensive.

Yue Fei – Special Skill
An Evony General's Special Skill is always active and does not require any upgrades. Make sure to carefully read the description to see the impact it will have.
Keep in mind that this General can be ascended through the Evony General Ascending feature. Each ascended star level will add an extra buff to the General's Special skill.

This skill boosts ground troops and mounted troops' attack by 25% and their HP by 10% when the General is leading the army in an attack.

Yue Fei learns these unique skills once he reaches level 25 as an Evony General. Keep in mind that developing these skills can be a bit pricey, requiring Gems and Runestones.
Mounted Troop Assault: Boost Mounted Troop Attack and HP by 10%.
Annihilation: Increase March Size Capacity by 6% and strengthen Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack by 10%.
War God: Enhance All Troops Attack by 6%.
Battle of Yancheng: Enjoy a 15% bonus to Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack, while reducing Enemy Mounted Troop Attack by 20%.

Mounted and Ground PvP
This build works best for players who have a good mix of Mounted and Ground troops. It adds mounted troop HP to help the mounted troops survive the attacks from ranged troops.
The ground troops also see their HP and Speed increased in order to reach the enemy intact and fast.
