Is Sulla a top choice for a general in Evony?
Definitely! Sulla, as an Archer Camp Officer, is currently the best option for this role. While John I of Portugal is also a good alternative, Sulla's ascension buffs and ranged attack buff from his Special Skill put him slightly ahead. The only downside is that getting Sulla may require spending money, whereas John I of Portugal can be obtained for free from the tavern.
Sulla's Special Skill is always active and does not require any development. Make sure to carefully read the description to see the impact it can have. You can also ascend Sulla through the Evony General Ascending feature, adding additional buffs to his Special Skill with each ascended star level.
