Absolutely! He excels in Ground PvP, with all his skills geared towards boosting Ground Troop stats. His Special Skill alone grants a huge 35% attack buff and a 15% HP and Defence buff for Ground Troops, making him incredibly valuable right off the bat.
One of the best things about Soult is that his skills and specialties work without any conditions. Whether he's leading troops in offense or defence, his buffs are always in effect, making him a solid choice for both roles.
Don't forget to pay attention to Soult's Special Skill description to make sure it's working as you'd like. And with the Evony General Ascending feature, you can enhance Soult even further by ascending him to gain additional buffs with each star level.

If you prefer to focus on ground attacks in the game, this build is perfect for you! It prioritizes ground attack, HP, defence, and speed over everything else. Not only will this build be effective for a ground attack march, but it will also serve you well as a Wall Defence General. Your ground troops will move faster towards the enemy and have improved HP to withstand ranged attacks.
If you only plan to use this build for attacking, consider swapping out one of the books for a March Size Skill Book. This will allow you to send more troops but won't benefit your defence.
