His special skill is tailored to enhance his mounted attack, defence, and HP right from the start, giving him a significant advantage.
If you manage to recruit Roland, you'll have a powerful asset on your side. Even if you choose not to fully specialize him due to the associated costs, Roland's capabilities still give him a slight edge over Hannibal, who currently ranks ahead of him.
