His special skill, Salic Law, significantly boosts the attack of your in-city ranged troops and siege machines by 35% while also weakening enemy ground and mounted units' defence and HP by 15%. This increase in defensive capabilities is sure to give your army a big advantage!

Every Evony General comes with a Special Skill that is always active and doesn't need to be developed. Make sure to carefully read the description to see the impact it has on your gameplay.
Remember, you have the option to ascend this General through the Evony General Ascending feature. Each ascended star level will provide additional buffs to the General's Special Skill.

This Special Skill reduces the defence and HP of enemy ground and mounted troops by 15% but boosts the attack of your in-city ranged troops and siege machines by 35% when the General is assigned as the Bunker Officer.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs
Here are the awesome buffs you'll get with each ascended star level for Clovis I:
1 Star: When Clovis I is the Bunker Officer, your In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defence will increase by 20%, and your Bunker Protecting Capacity will get a boost of 60%.
2 Star: With Clovis I leading as the Bunker Officer, your In-city Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack will go up by 15%, while your Defence and HP will receive a 10% increase.

3 Star: When Clovis I is the Bunker Officer, your Enemy Siege Machine Attack will decrease by 35%, and their Defence will drop by 25%.
4 Star: With Clovis I in charge as the Bunker Officer, your In-city Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack will increase by 25%, and your In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop HP will see a 30% boost.

Just a heads up, if you have Clovis I as a pure Evony Duty General working at a building, you don't need to worry about equipping him with skill books or gear. These won't make any difference to his performance while on duty. Instead, you should concentrate on cultivating him to enhance his duty rank.
