Is Jayavarman II a top choice general in Evony?
You really can't go wrong with him for Monster Hunting or Mounted PvP battles! His Special Skill, Khmer King, gives a massive 45 attack boost to Mounted Troops, and an extra 25% HP and Defense to both Ground and Mounted Troops. Just remember, while he may have a Ground Troop buff, he's not the best with that troop type - stick to sending him out with Mounted Troops for the best results!

Just a heads up, an Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and doesn't need any development. Take a moment to carefully read the description to make sure it's doing what you want.
Also, you can enhance this General through the Evony General Ascending feature. Each ascended star level will give an extra boost to the General’s Special skill.
Khmer King
Boosts mounted troops’ attack by 45% and raises ground troops and mounted troops’ defence and HP by 25% when the General leads the army in an attack.
