What is the Undead Invasion Event?
The Undead Invasion is a weekly alliance event in Evony where waves of undead troops march from a Snow Mountain toward every alliance member’s keep. It’s a Player vs. Environment (PvE) event that tests your defensive capabilities and alliance coordination. The event typically runs once a week, often over the weekend, and involves up to 20 waves of increasingly difficult undead armies attacking your city. Rewards are based on both your individual performance and your alliance’s collective success.

How to Start the Event
Alliance Rank Requirement: Only an alliance member with Rank 4 (R4) or Rank 5 (R5) can initiate the event. They do this via the Event Center in-game.
Activation Process:
Go to the Event Center.
Select the Undead Invasion event.
Click the “Participate” button.
The R4/R5 chooses between Easy or Hard difficulty. Hard mode features stronger undead but offers better rewards.

Victory Condition: To win a wave, you must kill at least 50% of the undead troops in that wave.
Loss Condition: If you lose two waves (kill less than 50%), the undead stop attacking your keep. However, you can still earn points by reinforcing other alliance members.
Teleporting: If you teleport your keep during the event (e.g., to avoid attack), the undead targeting you disappear, and you forfeit further personal progress in the event.
Subordinate Cities: These do not defend against the undead and are unaffected.
Troop Safety: Your generals cannot be killed or captured, and the undead don’t plunder resources. Losses are minimal, with troops only wounded (not permanently killed).
Event End: The event concludes when all alliance members either complete all 20 waves or lose twice.

Strategy for Playing the Event
Here’s a proven strategy to maximize your success and points:
Step 1: Positioning the Strong Players
Teleport Big Players: Have your alliance’s strongest members (those who can solo 20 waves) teleport to a Snow Mountain about an hour’s march from the alliance hive (600-700 km away).
Start the Event: The R4/R5 at the mountain activates the event. This gives weaker players in the hive a 60-minute buffer before the first wave hits them, while the strong players face waves immediately.
Step 2: Defending Your Keep
Active Defense: Stay online during the event to monitor your defense reports after each wave. Heal wounded troops between waves using resources and alliance help (click the help button in your Embassy).
Reinforcements: If your kill rate drops below 50% on a wave, request reinforcements from stronger alliance members in chat or by sharing coordinates.
Bubble Up: Always use a truce agreement (bubble) during the event to avoid PvP attacks from enemy players who might exploit the visible undead march lines to find your hive.
Step 3: Reinforcing the Hive
Big Players Return: Once the strong players finish their 20 waves (in about an hour), they teleport back to the hive.
Support Smaller Keeps: Reinforce weaker alliance members to help them survive all 20 waves. Prioritize reinforcing keeps with lower levels than yours, as your higher-tier troops will dominate lower-level undead.
Step 4: Maximize Points
Kill More Undead: Points are awarded based on the number and level of undead troops you kill. Reinforcing others after your waves are done keeps your score climbing.
Stay in the Alliance: Don’t leave the alliance before rewards are distributed (usually Monday morning server reset), or you’ll forfeit everything.

Mountain Timing: Choosing a mountain an hour away gives your alliance a strategic edge. Strong players finish early and reinforce the hive just as weaker keeps face their first waves.
