Overview of Hecate's Moon Event

Hecate's Moon is a two-day event in Evony: The King's Return, where players summon Hecate by using Underworld Keys to battle against her incarnations for rewards. This event primarily benefits larger players due to the high level of engagement and power required to maximize gains.

Step-by-Step Guide

Acquiring Underworld Keys:

Daily Activity: You can earn Underworld Keys by achieving an activity score of 80 and 110 in the Tavern.

Purchase: They are also available in a special pack costing $9.99 per key.

Summoning Hecate:

Go to the Hecate's Moon event tab in the game.

Use an Underworld Key by clicking the "Go" button with the magnifying glass icon. This action will direct you to a spot on the world map marked as "My Black Moon Hecate."

When you begin the challenge, you'll start encountering monsters one at a time in your surrounding area (within a radius of about 30km).

Tip: Bookmark this location to easily find it again since locating Hecate can be challenging without markers.

Engaging with Hecate’s Incarnations:

After summoning, visit Hecate within 5 minutes to trigger the appearance of Boss monsters (like Pan, Sphinx, Hydra).

Defeating Incarnations: Each incarnation defeated will spawn another randomly nearby. You have 5 minutes per boss to defeat it before it disappears.

Please note: Monsters can only be attacked on your own, teaming up is not allowed. When you defeat a monster or NPC, another will show up next. But, remember that the monsters and NPCs will stick around for just 5 minutes. If you don't defeat them in that time, they'll vanish!

Lunar Sacred Mirror: Use this item to locate the most recent monster associated with the event, helping if you lose track of them on the map.

Hecate's True Form:

Visiting her true form allows you to choose the difficulty level for the subsequent Trial Temple, affecting troop type, number, and buff strength:

New Moon Hecate: Choose troop type.

Black Moon Hecate: Decide on the number of troops.

Underworld Moon Hecate: Select buff amount.

The Trial Temples:

Once you've made your choice from Hecate's true form, you'll face Trial Temples where your choices determine the challenge level:

Levels vary from easier to very tough, with different buffs and troop types. For instance, a Level 32 Trial Temple might have different power and buffs based on your selection.

Rewards and Points:

Radiant Night Torches: Earned by defeating incarnations, these can be spent in the New Moon Shop for various rewards like generals, fragments, and decorations.

Event Points: Accumulate these through defeating bosses. Points contribute to your ranking and rewards at the end of the event.

In-game Description

1. During the event, using the Underworld Key allows you to summon Hecate. Hecate can transform into various Boss monsters. Defeating them earns you event points and the event token – the Radiant Night Torch.

2. After defeating an incarnation of Hecate, another will spawn at a random location on the world map. There’s also a chance that Hecate’s true form will appear. When you visit Hecate’s true form, you can choose the difficulty level for the Trial Temple, the type of troops, and the strength of the buff. Hecate’s true form will appear up to 3 times. The more incarnations you defeat, the higher the probability of encountering Hecate’s true form.

3. The Boss monsters that Hecate transforms into will disappear once the countdown ends. Additionally, the drop rate and number of Radiant Night Torches from these Boss monsters are not affected by Double Items Drop Rate.

4. From the summoning of Hecate to the defeat of all her incarnations is considered one challenge round. If any Boss monster disappears midway, that round automatically concludes.

5. The Trial Temple will refresh during the final trial of challenges in a single round. The higher the difficulty chosen by the Monarch at the beginning, the better the rewards for successfully completing the trial.

6. During the event, you can use the Radiant Night Torch to redeem items in the Event Shop, Underworld Goddess Treasures. Once the event concludes, any remaining Radiant Night Torches will automatically disappear, so please use them promptly.

7. Players will be ranked based on the highest total points in a single round. Ranking rewards will be sent via mail at the end of the event. If players have the same point, the one who reached it first will rank higher.
